How we support banking and financial law matters
Financing deals involve many parties and many documents. First, we review the term sheet and the security. Next, we negotiate the loan agreement with the other side. Finally, we check that the deal meets the rules of the Greek and EU regulators.
Our clients include companies that borrow, investors that fund projects and firms that offer financial services. For market rules, see the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and the Bank of Greece. Related areas are corporate law and investment in Greece.
When early advice helps
You may need advice before you sign a loan, because the terms decide your risk. If a dispute arises, early advice also keeps more options open. For example, we can review a covenant before it is breached. Likewise, we can prepare for a negotiation with a lender. Whatever the stage, we explain the position in plain language. Before a deal closes, we also prepare a list of conditions that must be met. If a condition is missing, we tell you at once. After signing, we help you track the next obligations, such as reporting and repayment dates. If you are abroad, we can also meet online once both sides have confirmed the appointment. In addition, we agree in advance how we will report to you, so that you always know the status of the deal. To discuss a transaction, book a consultation.
